SPROULE, Lyle Orville
October 10, 1932 - May 7, 2012
Lyle passed away peacefully in the loving arms of his devoted wife Rita and in the presence of their children Brian, Julie, and Don. He will be missed by his daughters-in-law, Kerry and Barbara and son-in-law Len, his brother Larry (Mary), sister Shirley Loop of Kenniwick, Washington and lovingly remembered as "Papa" by his grandchildren, Tim, Kayla, Meaghan, Carmen, Matt, Marcie, Scott, Jeffrey and Patrick, great-granddaughter Lola and his nieces and nephews. Lyle's career spanned 46 years with Spagnol's Queensborough Store and Spagnol's Wine and Beer Making Supplies. Lyle was actively involved with St. Mary's Hospital Foundation, Phoenix Food and Drug Group, a member of the Vancouver Golf Club and a long time supporter of The New Westminster Italian Mutual Aid Society. His generosity, kindness and humour will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Special thanks to Dr. P. O'Connor, Dr. K. Miki, his dedicated caregiver Iris, The Queens Park Adult Day Program and all who cared for him at Royal Columbian Hospital. A Celebration of Life will be held, Thursday, May 24, at 12 noon at the Vancouver Golf Club, 771 Austin Avenue, Coquitlam, B.C. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of B.C., B.C. Children's Hospital or the charity of your choice.
