Terrance Martin FARQUHAR June 14, 1951 - Nov 19, 2012 Our beloved Terry passed away Nov 19, 2012 after a valiant battle with MSA, one that he fought with courage and dignity for several years. He was 61 years young. Terry was a true gentleman, a man of character and strength, his sense of humour ever present. His engaging personality endeared him to all who were fortunate enough to meet him. He had a passion for cycling, sailing, scuba-diving, golf, cooking, entertaining and travelling, all of which he enjoyed with his loving wife, Norma. He retired from his position as head rigger at Triumf in 2008 and thus began several 'snowbird' trips to their lovely home in Arizona. Terry loved birds and took great pleasure watching them flock to the feeders on their 'down south' patio. He had a special love for his pet lovebirds Perico and Camilla. Terry will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife and best friend Norma, his sisters Dianne, Judy and Marlene, nieces, nephews, in-laws and his many friends, especially 'the Mexico gang'. We extend heartfelt appreciation to Dr Iain Mackie, Dr Eric Cadesky, Don Gulak and his team at the Medicine Shoppe, and the ERT who provided Terry with excellent care, kindness and compassion. A celebration of Terry's life will be held in late January, details to be announced. Terry's magnificent smile will be etched in our memories forever.
