HOLOBOFF, Sheila Anne (nee Cliffe)
March 26, 1928 - December 12, 2012
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother Sheila. She was born and raised in New Westminster, B.C. and received her schooling at the Duke of Conaught High School and the Vancouver Normal School. She moved to Grand Forks in 1946 to begin her teaching career. In 1947, Sheila married Peter Holoboff and began her family. In 1959 they opened their own business known today as the "Tastie Treat" where Sheila will always be remembered for her signature "Sheila Burgers." She was predeceased by her husband Peter, parents Thornton and Edith Cliffe and brothers Jack and Ronald. Sheila is survived by her daughters Sylvia (John) Jackson, Evelyn (Gary) Kimmel, five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
