Devoted Mother and Wife, Sara Tyab passed away suddenly on December 20, 2012 at Lions Gate Hospital in North Vancouver. Sara was born in Karnal, India in 1963, daughter of the late Partrap Singh Chhabra and Pal Kaur Gill. Her brothers and sisters, Anoop (deceased), Jessi, Guddi, Pammi, Manju and Amit share this loss with nephew Jimmy, many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. Sara met her husband Saleem Tyab on New Year's eve in 1985, married shortly thereafter and shared more than 25 years of marriage together. Saleem and Sara were blessed by their own companionship that was deepened immeasurably by the births and life time shared with their sons Farris, Aron and Ruslan Tyab. Sara is remembered for her laughter and smiles, outspokeness, kindness and generosity to friends and family. All are deeply shocked and saddened by this sudden and tragic loss. A memorial will be held at Riverside Funeral Home, 7410 Hopcott Road, Delta, BC on Friday December 28th. Viewing and service from 2pm - 4 pm. Thereafter, Langar and Prayers will be held at the Nanaksar Gurdawara at 18691 Westminster Hwy Richmond, BC. For all that had the honour and pleasure to know Sara and her family, she will always be remembered and loved. Her surviving family will forever have the support and care of family and friends. "To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others; to leave the world a little better; whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is the meaning of success. " Ralph Waldo Emerson
