Ralph passed away peacefully at Foyer Maillard in Coquitlam following a stroke. He was predeceased by Jessie, his wife of 56 years, and his brother Len. He is survived by daughters Susan Zuckerman (Pete) and Betty Hess (Rick) and son Roy Lundahl; grandchildren Marisha and Blake Zuckerman and Travis and Scott Hess; great-grandchildren Cyrus Zuckerman, Cassandra Bernard, and Ashby and Jolene Hess; nieces Beverley Lundahl and Carol Turcanik. Ralph was born in Estevan, Saskatchewan. His years growing up on the farm were always dear to his heart and he published a fascinating book about those times that showed his amazing memory for detail. He owned Burquitlam Electric for many years in Coquitlam, B.C. and was a proud member of numerous organizations including the New Democratic Party, the Chamber of Commerce, Port Coquitlam Hunting and Fishing Club, and Technocracy. Ralph was an avid outdoorsman and conservationist and loved the earth and all living things. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, gardening, and politics. A hard-working, independent and resourceful man, Ralph always had a story to tell. Many thanks to the staff at Foyer Maillard for their excellent care over the past two years.
