HANNAH, John James
Aug. 17, 1943 – Feb. 13, 2013
John James Hannah passed away unexpectedly on February 13, 2013, at Abbotsford Hospital. He will be missed by his wife of 43 years Jae, son Callum, daughter Samantha, son-in-law Hank, granddaughter Madeline, and by family in Scotland and England: his mother Caroline, his sisters Elaine and Rita, and his brothers Samuel and Edward. John also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and great friends. John is predeceased by his father Sam, his sister Caroline, and his brother Tommy. John was born in Falkirk, Scotland, and moved to Canada in 1966. For all of his life he was a master carpenter. He loved fishing and hunting, and he was a snare drummer in the Abbotsford Legion Pipe Band for many years. A memorial service and open house will be held at the family home in Abbotsford on February 23, 2013 at 1 p.m. Online condolences may be given at www.woodlawnfh-abbotsford.com.
