Mrs. Judith Elaine (Hutchinson) Heintzelman Obituary
Mrs. Judith Elaine (Hutchinson) Heintzelman, 71, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2018 in Meritus Medical Center, Hagerstown, MD.
Born March 20, 1947 in Lewistown, PA, she was the daughter of the late M. Eugene and Gladys M. (Bingaman) Hutchinson.
Mrs. Heintzelman was a graduate of Sunbury High School with the Class of 1965. She later attended Salem College in West Virginia.
She and her husband of 42 years, Mr. C. Dwight Heintzelman, were married July 9, 1976 in Waynesboro.
Mrs. Heintzelman was employed as a marketing consultant at Frederick News Post for the last 17 years.
She was a member of Morris Frock American Legion Post #42 Ladies Auxiliary, Hagerstown and Hagerstown Chamber of Commerce where she served as an ambassador.
Mrs. Heintzelman enjoyed knitting, cooking, playing golf and spending time with her dog, Sam.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, T.R. Dewitt, III and his wife, Sheila of Waynesboro, PA and Darin Heintzelman and his wife, Julie of Mercersburg, PA; three grandchildren, Devin, Joseph and Adam Heintzelman; one brother, William K. Hutchinson and his wife, Linda of Eagles Mere, PA; two nephews, Todd and Scott Hutchinson; and her former spouse, Thurl Dewitt, Jr. of Quincy, PA.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, September 10, 2018 in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 South Broad Street, Waynesboro, PA with Pastor Mike Kenney officiating. Burial will be private in Quincy Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, Monday afternoon, in the funeral home.
