Roberta E. Falcon Obituary
Roberta E. (Harbaugh) Falcon, 90, a resident of Michaux Manor Assisted Living Center, South Mountain, and formerly of Waynesboro, died Friday afternoon, May 9, 2014, in the assisted living center. She had been in failing health since 2012 when she entered the assisted living center and critically ill for the past year.
Born April 12, 1924, in Blue Ridge Summit, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Wilbur H. and Leatha M. (Fitz) Harbaugh. She lived her early life in the Blue Ridge Summit area, however she lived in various locations throughout her life, including Utah for 18 years. She returned to the Waynesboro area in 1988.
Mrs. Falcon worked as a seamstress for various companies. She was last employed as a sail maker for Parasail/Gliders of Utah. She retired in 1984.
She enjoyed outdoor camping and fishing. She also enjoyed traveling and was loved by all.
Mrs. Falcon is survived by several nieces and nephews.
She was the last of her immediate family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Frances Gaver and Doris Martin; and four brothers, Vaughn Harbaugh, Fred Harbaugh, Hiram Harbaugh and James Harbaugh.
Services and burial in Jacob's Church Cemetery will be private at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Jacob's United Church of Christ, 495 Harbaugh Valley Road, Fairfield, Pennsylvania 17320.
