Mabert I. Harbaugh Obituary
Mabert I. Harbaugh, 93, Monterey Circle, Blue Ridge Summit, Pennsylvania, died Tuesday morning, July 8, 2014, at the home of her daughter in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.
She was born July 8, 1921, in Zora, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Roy and Mary Gilland Eyler. Her husband Francis "Bud" Harbaugh died in 1991.
Mabert was a lifelong active member of the Apostolic Church of Greenstone, where she sang in the choir for many years. For a number of years she was employed at the Plaza Restaurant in Blue Ridge Summit and later at McClain's Restaurant. She was an accomplished seamstress and an avid gardener.
Mrs. Harbaugh is survived by her daughter, Mary A. Waltz of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania; three granddaughters, Judy Waltz, Donna D'Alssandro, Debra Kocher; seven great-grandchildren, Zachary Carney, Andrea Carney, Erica Green, Taylor Kocher, Kathryn Pedersen, Christopher Pedersen, Alexander Pedersen; and a great-great-grandson, Noah Green; a sister, Shirley Hull of Fairfield, Pennsylvania.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 11, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Monahan Funeral Home in Fairfield, Pennsylvania, with Rev. Eugene Cline officiating. Interment will be in Fountaindale Union Cemetery. There will be a viewing at the funeral home on Friday from 1 p.m. until the time of the service.
