Willis M. Etter, 86, of Mount Vernon Terrace, Waynesboro, passed away Sunday, July 27, 2014
Born in Montgomery Township, he was the son of the late George L. and Gail D. (Gift) Etter.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane (Eigenbrode) Etter; seven children, Deborah A. Beck, Laurean W. Etter, Ellen G. Ott, Richard M. Etter, Cynthia M. Davis, Christine D. Emory and Amy C. Bennett; many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Klee Young and Norma Mummart; a sister-in-law, Geraldine Etter; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Warren M. Etter; three sisters; and three brothers.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, 2014, in Rouzerville Church of the Brethren, 11942 Old Route 16, Rouzerville, with Pastors Clarence and Darlene Stouffer officiating.
Burial will be private at the convenience of the family in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg.
Arrangements are by Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, Waynesboro.
