Kenneth M. Triesh Obituary
Kenneth M. Triesh, 55, of 222 Hamilton Ave., Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, passed away Monday, July 28, 2014, in Hershey Medical Center.
Born Feb. 12, 1959, in Fort Campbell, Kentucky, he was the son of the late John E. and Lorraine E. (Kayhoe) Triesh.
Mr. Triesh was a graduate of Waynesboro High School with the Class of 1979.
He and his wife of over 22 years, Dawndra K. (Forney) Triesh, were married Oct. 5, 1991.
Mr. Triesh was employed at several local businesses including Kinney Shoe Factory in Fairfield, Ames Department Store, Waynesboro, Ventura Foods in Chambersburg and Cosmic Skate in Rouzerville. He was last employed at NVR Homes in Thurmont, Maryland.
He attended Faith United Methodist Church, Waynesboro, and was a member of William Max McLaughlin VFW Post 695, Joe Stickell American Legion Post 15, Eagles Club Inc. and Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1191, all of Waynesboro and national AARP.
Mr. Triesh was an active volunteer at Fairview Avenue Elementary School. He was known as a car enthusiast who enjoyed skating, tending his roses and spending time with his dog
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Maegan E. Triesh, at home; two sisters, Debra Statler of Waynesboro and Barbara Printz of Keedysville, Maryland; one brother, Charles Triesh Sr. of Hagerstown, Maryland; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, John E. Triesh; and a nephew, Jeremy Triesh.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 31, 2014, in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro with the Revs. Mark Shover and John Semple officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
