Adele Joan Norma Caouette

Adele was born in Braintree England to Maurice and Joan Caouette on July 11, 1944. Her father was a Warrant Officer in the US AirForce after WWII and as an AirForce "brat", she traveled with her younger brothers, Maurice Jr, Norman and sister, Kathryn to new bases in England, Guam, California, and Maine.
Adele started her career as an airline stewardess on DC10's airplanes, was wife to Pete Vander Haeghen, retired as an Administrative Assistant, and a loving mother to two daughters, Kim Pelletier and Wendy Vander Haeghen, and granddaughter, Katrina Pelletier. 
Adele Caouette was not only a wonderful loving mother and gifted artist, she was someone who could make you feel special with her smile and showed kindness wherever she went. She would always say, "kindness matters" and loved God and her family with all her heart.
She is survived by her brother, Norman Caouette; sister, Kathryn Caouette; daughters, Kim Pelletier and Wendy Vander Haeghen, and granddaughter, Katrina Pelletier. 
Her memorial service will be on Monday, Nov. 18 at 1:30 p.m., at University Covenant Church, 315 Mace Blvd., Davis.
