A Mass of the Resurrection for Faith M.I. Allenegui, 43, of Travis Air Force Base, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Travis Air Force Base Chapel.
Catholic Chaplain Bert Lambert will officiate. Burial will be private.
Mrs. Allenegui passed away May 9, 2006, in David Grant USAF Medical Center following a brief bout with cancer.
She was born May 26, 1962, in California. Faith graduated from Window Rock High School, class of 1981, valedictorian, was a member of National Honor Society, had been a Girl Scout counselor, active in P.T.A., and the AIDS project, member of Big Sisters, she had three associate degrees.
She joined the United States Air Force in 1987, was Airman of the Year in Korea, was in radio and satellite communications. Was one of the first counselors for Financial Peace University in Europe, was an information Manager Craftsman, had worked in computer security at NATO. Headquarters, and had been the Foreign Military sales manager for the U.S. Embassy in London, England. She was an avid gardener and had a sense of humor unlike no other.
Mrs. Allenegui is survived by her husband of16 years, John, of Travis Air Force Base; daughters, Aimee and Madeleine, both of Travis Air Force Base; sons, Jonathan of Tuscon, Ariz., and Elijah of Travis Air Force Base; father, Ernest E. Ingraham of Eureka; sisters, Scarlett Sterling (Rick) of Fairbanks, Alaska, Hope Ingraham (TomGonzales) of Arcata, and Charity Ingraham of Alameda; nieces, nephews and cousins; mother-in-law, Lourdes Allenegui ofLas Vegas.
Faith was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce E. Ingraham; father-in-law, Duane C. Allenegui; andher grandmother, LauraLudlum, who passed away the same day.
