A Mass of the Resurrection for Norman Edward Angle, 79, of Fairfield, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Fairfield.

Father Michael Downey will officiate. Burial with full military honors will be in St. Alphonsus Catholic Cemetery.

Mr. Angle passed away on April 3, 2006, in the Methodist Hospital in Sacramento following a long bout with diabetes and renal problems.

Born Sept. 29, 1926, in Charleston, W. Va., he was a Fairfield resident for the past 35 years. He was with the U.S. Army in World War II for four years and then the U.S. Air Force for 21 years.

A visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday with a rosary at 7 p.m., recited at Holy Spirit Catholic Church by Sister Dorothea.
