Ruth Marie Hausler went to the with her Lord, Jesus Christ, on Sept. 19, after a lengthy bout with Parkinson's disease, and living with chronic back pain. She was an astonishing wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister. She was born in Des Moines, Iowa to Leroy and Maxine Strayer on March 5, 1938. she is survived by her husband of 56 years, Bill Hausler; four children, Stephen Hausler (Donna) of vacaville, Michael Hausler of Honolulu, Hawaii, Timothy Hausler (Tina) of Broken Arrow, Oaklahoma, Brenda Tipton (Mark) of Victorville, CA; 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Becky Marx (Gene) of Manteca, CA., and Joy Fee (Don) of Boise, Idaho; many nieces and nephews.
Ruth has lived in Vacaville the last 43 years where she assisted her husband, Bill in Pastoring Trinity Christian Center, serving women's ministries, children and youth. she served as a volunteer at Vaca Valley Hospital from the time it opened, serving mostly in the Emergency Room as well as the general areas of the hospital.
Ruth was a stay-at-home mom, a gifted care giver, a good counselor, a loving and trusted friend to many. She was much loved for her sense of humor and her zest for enjoying life. She always accepted others as equals and never judged anyone regardless of the circumstance. She will be truly missed by family and friends alike.
Services of remembrance for Ruth will be held at Trinity Baptist Church in Vacaville on Tuesday, Sept. 25, 11 a.m. Funeral arrangements are by River Cities Funeral Chapel of West Sacramento.
