Sheri A. Armstrong

December 6, 1960 - December 26, 2007

A mass of the Resurrection will be held for Sheri Armstrong, 47, of Vacaville at 10 a.m. on Thursday January 3 at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Father Michael McFadden will officiate. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 2 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., with a rosary at 7 p.m. at Nadeau Family Funeral Home. Inurnment will be private.

Sheri passed away December 26, 2007, at the Northbay Medical Center in Fairfield after a courageous battle with breast cancer.

Sheri was born in Berkeley and grew up in El Cerrito. She graduated from El Cerrito High in 1979. She was a waitress for 30 years; the last 7 years at Pietros #1 in Vacaville on Cernon Street, where she was very popular and liked by everyone. She developed lots of friendships in the 18 years her family has lived in Vacaville.

Sheri loved to camp, have purse parties, be with her children, and take Harley rides to Reno.

She leaves behind Milton, her loving husband of 25 years, sons Kenny and Anthony, and daughter Amanda, her parents Richard M. and Helen M. Johnson, two sisters, her brother Rick, grandfather Laurence Tenbrink, her Aunts Lori, Linda, Char, and many others to count.

She is also survived by numerous cousins, especially Debbie Pullin of Cordelia, two nieces and five nephews. She will be missed more than people can imagine.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Sheri's son Anthony's college fund.
