Caitlin Allio Obituary
Oct. 20, 1989 - May 13, 2012
A Funeral Service for Caitlin Rose Allio, 22 of Vacaville will be 11 a.m., Friday, May 18, at Orchard Avenue Baptist Church located at 301 N. Orchard Ave. in Vacaville. Pastor Joe Quinn will officiate.
Catie passed away on Sunday night surrounded by her family. She was born to Joe and Kathy Allio on Oct. 20, 1989 in Vallejo, Calif.
Catie was diagnosed at age 11 with Batten Disease, a rare and degenerative neurological disease. Catie can best be described as a "Gift". Despite all the trials she had been through, Catie always remained joyful and loving to all who came into contact with her. She loved to joke and make people smile.
Catie is survived by her parents, Joe and Kathy; siblings, Tony (Mandy), Kelly (Kyle), Kerri, Amy and Annie; nephews, Joey and Owen; grandparents, Rose Schmid and Anne and Jim Allio. She is also survived by a host of extended family and friends.
Catie may have lost the fight but she won the battle as she continues living free of Batten Disease.
