Margaret passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Nov. 3, in Fairfield. She was born on April 7, 1934 in Oxford, England to William Wells and Lily Woodley Wells.
Margaret had many loves and passions. An avid A's fan, she enjoyed music, playing bingo, watching hummingbirds, "The Price Is Right," anything British and of course "Teas" with friends.
She was a longtime member of the British American Wives Club and the Chatter Box Club.
Margaret was instrumental in running her family's businesses, Fairfield and Vacaville Camera Centres, during the 70's and 80's.
Margaret was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Thomas Stenson, numerous family members and friends and many pets over the years.
Her survivors include sons, Mark, Craig and Mitchell (Debbie Rogers); grandchildren, Andrea (fiance, Robert Murphy), Alex and Tamara Jean (Jamie Medlin); great-grandchildren, Jace and Taegan; daughters-in-law, Robin and Darla; cousin, Karen (Colin Edwards). She is also survived by numerous extended relatives in England.
Margaret will be dearly missed by all us. May she rest peacefully in Heaven.
Services for Margaret Jean Stenson will be private. She will be laid to rest at the Vacaville-Elmira Cemetery with her husband.
