Tita, I have a fond memory of going to your house introducing you to your great-grand daughter Christiana Alina Veliz you had Nopellas and chicana cooking on the stove and on table some really hot chile. I remember how the living room looked and how warm the house was and how welcomed you made me feel into your family i will never forget that. my prayers are with you and your family.

My dearest "favorite Mother-in-law", thank you for treating me as a daughter and my sons as part of your family. I will miss you teaching me how to cook "Mexican" food, calling me a sissy when it came to eating chili (it was never hot enough for you), reminding me that you've known me since I was 14, for ironing/hemming my uniforms, you taught me how to dance, our tequila nights and especially the memories at Garden Hwy which I will always treasure, those were the days! You will always be in my heart. Thanks for caring. You always knew.
