Betty Mae Greenslade, 83, of Vacaville died Monday, Aug. 26, at her home in Vacaville surrounded her loved ones. She was born July 20, 1930 in Minnisota to LLoyd and Maude Garrison.
Betty is survived by son, Micheal Smith' six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren, and 20 year love, Richard Gomez.
Betty's mother, Maude; father, LLoyd; three brothers, Richard, Willfred, and Gary all Garrison; daughter, Trudi Fisher and husband, Robert Greensade all preceded her in death.
Betty worked for over 20 years as an electronics assembler for the Systron and Donner internal Division in Concord. Where she was a part of the NASA Gemini project and was witness to its July 21,1966 landing in Cape Canaveral.
She was a proud 40 year member of the Women of the Moose with senior regents in 1983 and 1984.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, Sept. 3 at 11 a.m., at Oakmont Memorial Park, 2099 Reliez Valley Rd., Lafayette. A memorial celebration will be announced at a later date.
