A funeral for Ellen J. Angerina, 93, of Vacaville, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Nadeau Family Funeral Home, 180 E. Monte Vista Ave., Vacaville.
Burial will be private at Cherokee Memorial Park, Lodi.
Mrs. Angerina passed away Nov. 12, 2006, in VacaValley Hospital.
She was born Sept. 11, 1913, in Antioch. She worked as a bookkeeper for 45 years, retiring in 1976. Ellen was a member of Myrtle Rebekah Lodge No. 15. She was a past Grand Matriarch, Parker No. 3, Stockton. Ellen also served as the Vacaville Senior Citizens Club treasurer and tour guide. Ellen liked to fish, hunt, bowl and travel. She went to Europe twice and visited the Panama Canal and Expo '86 in Canada. Ellen saw the Rose Parade eight times and took numerous trips throughout the United States. Ellen loved to watch sports and was a fan of the Oakland A's, Oakland Raiders and San Francisco 49ers.
She is survived by her daughter, Myra Vasquez of Vacaville; son, George (Vi) Sawtelle of Vacaville; sister, Anna (Peggy) Webster of Fairfield; eight grandchildren, Ellen Wehman, Tammy Rojas, Georgia Moreno, Myra Chirila, Allison Vasquez-Welling, Manuel Vasquez, Debra Wilkinson and Mary Boivin; five grandsons-in-law; great-grandchildren, David Spencer, Jaclyn Rojas, Jessica Wehman, Catherine Rojas, Rachelle Wehman, Bailey Vasquez-Martinelli, Erin Vasquez, Elizabeth Rojas, Kimberly Rojas, Claire Welling and Emily Chirila; great-great-grandson, Michael Lum; niece, Maxine Rousso; and friends, Joyce Foster, Jackie, Stephanie, Donnie and Kaye Rogers. She was preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, George Angerina, in 1990; parents, Edlef and Flora Bonnicksen; sister, Pearl Harmon; and brother, William Henry Bonnicksen.
A visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. tonight at Nadeau Family Funeral Home.
