In Loving Memory of Eloise Esther Salazar. A visitation will be held at Nadeau Family Funeral Home on Wednesday, Feb. 27, from 5 to 8 p.m., with a rosary at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will celebrate the life of Eloise Salazar on Thursday, Feb. 28, at 11 a.m., at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery.
Eloise was born in San Bernardino and lived most of her life in Southern California. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She worked as a Ward Clerk in St. Bernardine's Hospital in San Bernardino and Tri-City Hospital in Oceanside. After moving to Las Vegas in 1990, she was employed at Desert Springs Hospital. She developed many close and lasting friendships wherever she resided and had a special affection for animals, especially dogs. In 2006, Eloise and Anthony moved to Vacaville to be near their children and grandchildren.
Eloise was recently preceded in death by Anthony, her husband of 66 years.
She is survived by sons, Gary (Debbie) and Jay (Ellen); daughter, Beverly (Mike) Boele; grandchildren, Nick, Curtis, Doug and Christine Salazar, Jeff, Daniel, Marc and Robert Boele; great-grandchildren, Krysta, Andrew, Sydney, Emma and Ellie Boele.
