Our beloved Jose was born on March 19, 1934, in Durango, Mexico, into a family of 12. He came to Vacaville as a young teenager and made it his home. He retired from American Home Foods, then worked as a security officer.
Jose was an active member of the community. He also attended St. Mary's Catholic Church for 50 years.
Jose leaves behind his wife, Carmen; five children, Yolanda Jimenez, Rose Crowhearst, Joseph Aispuro, Daniel Aispuro and Gracie Sandival; three stepdaughters, Moncia Guzman, Otilla Cortez and Leticia Cortez; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a wonderful family and great friends.
A viewing will be held today from 5 to 8 p.m., with a Rosary a 7 p.m. at Nadeau Family Funeral Home.
A Mass of Resurrection will be held on Thursday, May 26, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Humberto Gomez officiating. Interment will be at Vacaville-Elmira Cemetery.
