I remember Mr. Lehfeldt very well as a student at Vacaville High School. He was a gentleman and cared for all of the students. I was a classmate of his son, Norman.

Uncle Julius will be missed by all of us. He was always upbeat and had a great sense of humor and an easy laugh. And he certainly stood out in a crowd!

Many years ago I was secretary for Kofa High School when Mr. Lehfeldt was substituting. He never turned down an assignment and always reported to work wearing a suit and tie and of course, his great smile! Regardless of how challenging some of the students were, Julius always turned in his keys at the end of the day, still looking crisp, dapper and, or course, smiling. He was the utilmate professional! With fondness I can still remember him coming into the office with his friend Gordon Axford - they were both excellent additions who brightened my day! I am sorry for your loss.

Uncle Julius was bigger than life! He did have a wonderful laugh from his entire being and I know he made a lasting impression on family and friends. His wonderful beard and white hair made him stand out in the crowd. He will be missed by us all.

Uncle Julius supported me as a beginning teacher; he gave me credit for being better than I was. His extended family will miss him; this year's reunion was the first he missed. Lehfeldts are known for hearty, infectious laughs; Uncle Julius had one of the best.
