Linda was born in San Francisco, Calif., on Jan. 25, 1950, to Mary Bise-Lobdell and Eugene George Lobdell.
She died peacefully in her sleep Wednesday morning, Sept. 15, after a very long battle with cancer.
She was a devoted wife and mother of six children and two grandchildren specifically, but she was mom to many others.
A memorial service will be held on Oct. 3, at 1 p.m. after the morning worship service at The Mission, on Leisure Town Road.
Linda's family is overwhelmed by the loving support by so many people during and after losing her fight, and is deeply grateful to all.
In lieu of flowers, please give generously to your local church, food bank or service organization who serves the poor and/or homeless. She was an extremely generous servant of the King, her wish would be for you to follow her lead.
Arrangements are by Vaca Hills Chapel Funeral Home, 446-3233, www.vacahillschapel .com.
