Margaret "Marge" Doran passed away Feb. 9, at the age of 90 in Fairfield. A native of Indiana she grew up in Evansville. She started her career in the US Army Nurse Corps in 1945 and received a BS in Nursing from Denver University in 1951. Even after retiring, she was remembered by many former patients she had cared for at David Grant Hospital.     
Marge and her family moved to Fairfield in 1968. She was an avid crafter and bowler. She enjoyed traveling to visit friends and family. Marge will be remembered by all who knew her for her sense of life and strong spirit.  
Her husband, Jim Doran passed away in 1987. She is survived by her children, Cindy and Tom Millar, Jim Doran Jr., Alicia Doran, Fred and Marilyn Doran; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren, and her sister, Laurie Seaman. 
A memorial service will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, Feb.16, at Bryan-Braker Funeral Home, 1850 West Texas St., Fairfield.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers any remembrances be sent to NorthBay Hospice & Bereavement, or NorthBay Bridges (Supportive Care Services), both located at 5140 Business Center Drive, Suite 130, Fairfield, CA 94533.
