Funeral services for Mohammad Hassan Nosrati, 80, will be held Friday morning, 11 a.m., at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, on Wrentham Drive, with Bishop Marty Hansen presiding. Mr. Nosrati passed away in his Vacaville home Monday morning after a brief illness. He was born on June 2, 1932, in Tehran, Iran. He was a resident of Vacaville for the past 45 years. At the age of 27, Mr. Nosrati immigrated to the United States. He resided in Salt Lake City where he met and married the love of his life, Evy. Together they had two sons. Thereafter, they moved to San Jose, CA., in 1964 where he was employed by F.M.C. Corp., In 1967, the family moved to Vacaville where Mr. Nosrati went to work for American Home Foods as a Quality Control Manager. He then was promoted to Technical Director and finally until his retirement he was a Microbiologist.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Evy of Vacaville; sons, David (Lisa) of Clayton, CA., and Richard (Gina) of Dixon; as well as three grandchildren, Nicholas, Jackson and Dillon. His sisters, Turan and Enzy both living in Iran survive.
Mr. Nosrati will be laid to rest after Friday's service in Vacaville-Elmira Cemetery. All arrangements are entrusted to the care and direction of Nadeau Family Funeral Home, 455-7700. www.nadeaufuneralhome.com.
