Pege Diane Metzger (Carter)
April 7, 1964 - May 22, 2012
Pege Diane Metzger (Carter) passed away May 22, at the age of 48, after succumbing to a long and arduous battle with cancer. She did so surrounded by family and friends who love her very much.
Pege was born April 7, 1964, in Fairfield, to Robert and Patricia Carter.
Pege loved life and enjoyed filling her time with family and friends. She loved her family unconditionally. She cherished being a Meema and showered her grandchildren with affection. Pege was generous and kind, always available to help, listen, and provide advice to those in need, constantly putting others before herself.
Pege worked for the Solano County Sheriff's Office as a Correctional Officer for 12 years and five months, until she was medically retired during her fight with cancer.
Pege is survived by her father; brother; two sons, and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
