A Mass of Christian Burial for William James Knauff, 55, of Vacaville, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 4, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1791 Marshall Road, Vacaville. Father Mathew will officiate. Burial will follow at Rolling Hills Cemetery in Richmond, Calif.
Bill passed away on Sept. 27 in Vacaville. He was born on July 13, 1955, in Berkeley, Calif., to William and Patricia Knauff.
He had worked for the past 23 years at 7UP Bottling Co. in Vallejo.
Bill had many interests. He was an A's fan, played softball in several local men's leagues and was involved in his kids' activities, coaching both Little League and Pony Tail softball. Bill also enjoyed old cars. He went to countless car shows and could often be found at the local Foster Freezes showing his Corvette.
Bill is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Sharon; sons, Wade and Brandon; daughter and son-in-law, Sierra and Daniel Carson, all of Vacaville; sister, Dolly Meletiou of Forbestown, Calif.; and numerous extended family and good friends.
