1974 - 2014 Obituary Condolences
Brian DeStefano Obituary
February 7, 1976 - July 9, 2014

A Memorial Service for Brian DeStefano, 38 of Vacaville, will be 11 a.m., Saturday, July 19 at Vaca Hills Chapel Funeral Home, 524 Elmira Road in Vacaville. Brian died Wednesday, July 9, in a motor vehicle accident. He was born Feb. 7, 1976 in Vallejo, Ca. Brian grew up locally and graduated from Hogan High School in 1994. He married his high school sweetheart, Christy Connick, on August 12, 2000.

If you had the privilege to know Brian, you know that he was dedicated to his family. Brian was a loving husband and proud father, but he was so much more. He was a proud uncle, a loyal son, a caring brother and friend to no fault.

Brian was an avid reader and movie enthusiast, never leaving home without a book. He enjoyed outdoor activities, such as camping and fishing with family and friends. He was a passionate sports fan, from watching his favorite professional teams with family and friends, to unwavering support of Jacob and Tyler in their baseball and other activities.

Moving to Vacaville, he began working at CMF as a pharmacy technician. He was devoted to his wife Christy and his two sons, Jacob and Tyler, living everyday with them to the fullest. With his humorous wit, he met life's challenges with levity, honor and fortitude. "Always Our Rock," he filled the room with his smile, his smirk, and friendly demeanor. Brian will be missed by all - today, tomorrow and always!

Brian was preceded in death by his mom, Vickie. He is survived by his wife, Christy; two sons, Jacob and Tyler; father, Ken; grandmother, Jacqueline Waterman (Menifee), and a large extended family.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Brian DeStefano memorial Account 553621 at Travis Credit Union.
