Antonio Villalon Lewis, 87, entered his eternal rest at David Grant Medical Center, Travis Air Force Base, on Saturday, Feb. 23, surrounded by his family. Antonio was born on Oct. 7, 1925, in San Juan, La Union, Philippines, to William A. Lewis and Justina Villalon.
Antonio arrived in America in 1951 and joined the U.S. Air Force serving proudly and honorably for 20 years until his retirement in Jan. 1972. As a civilian, he worked at Mare Island Naval Shipyard; and retired a second time from U.S. Customs, Oakland, in 1987. He was a 40 year resident of Vacaville, California.
Antonio married Gregoria de la Cuesta in 1952 and they had over 60 happy years together.  He will be missed by his wife; children, Clarence (Karen), Shirley, David, and Debra (Lucke); his granddaughter, Ashlynn Stroud; his sisters, Rosie and Ella; his brother, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Antonio's family wishes to thank the City of Vacaville Fire Dept. paramedics and the ICU staff at David Grant, Travis AFB, friends, and family for their help and concern during his time of need. Services will be held on Saturday, March 2, at 11 a.m., with a viewing at 10 a.m., at McCune Garden Chapel, 212 Main St., Vacaville.
