Gordon Lee Boles Obituary

Gordon Lee Boles, originally from Vacaville, passed away peacefully in his home in Sacramento on Dec. 9. Gordon was the son of Lester 'Curly' Boles and Bernice Boles who preceded him in death along with his first wife, Donna Rae Boles. He is survived by his three children, Julie Ballard, Adam Boles and Mitzi Brabb; two grandchildren, Haley Rae and Sawyer Lee and his wife of 19 years, Brenda Boles. Also his brother, Rodney, Aunt Lorell and cousin Dave. His beloved canine companion, Marley was always by his side and even with him when he passed. He will be missed by many. 
Gordon graduated Vacaville High School in 1957, enlisted in the Army before graduating from Cal Poly with a degree in architecture. He was a well known and respected architect in Vacaville, designing the Vacaville Museum and other legacies. He was a talented photographer and world traveler who worked in Saudi Arabia, Arizona and Colorado. He was a kind, devoted, loving man, as well as an innovative and creative visionary with a legacy of original projects.    
Services will be held at the Spiritual Life Center, 2201 Park Towne Center, Sacramento, CA 95825 on Friday, Jan. 3 at 2 p.m. Donations in lieu of flowers will be graciously accepted by The Spiritual Life Center in Sacramento or DelOro Caregivers Resource Center, 8421 Auburn Blvd, Citrus Heights, CA 95610.
