Miss Senator was my mother's English teacher as well as my Spanish teacher. She would tell wonderful stories of her adventures (as well as stories about my mother's class)! She will truly be missed! NPHS class of '78

Miss Senator was my Spanish teacher for two years and I remember her as a lively, very entertaining woman and teacher. I will always remember the times when she had "show and tell" and brought her spears that she got from the bullfights that she attended....one still had the dried blood from a bull on the tip...that freaked me out! At the time I was only 15-16 and the years were 1962-1963. The world will miss Miss Senator...she had a great spirit!

I was lucky to have Miss Senator as my high school Spanish teacher. She encouraged and convinced me to take the Spanish SATs. Never met another teacher as connected and successful! Karen Herschler McCann '63

Srta. Senator (Serta) was one of my most loved high school teachers. She was a wonderful educator and my 5 years of Spanish have served me well in my nursing career. It was my privilege to reconnect with her as a patient in recent years. She has left a great legacy.

Ms Senator was the most enthusiastic and caring educator. She was not only very knowledgeable about her subject, she had the passion & skills to keep her students interested and learning. Most of all, she made me feel special.

This woman was such a wonderful teacher. It was easy to learn Spanish from her. You could not have asked for a better class advisor
either, full of fire and passion for her students. We reconnected later in our lives, and I consider her a friend that I will sincerely miss. Sally Groff Denithorne, Cape May, NJ NPHS '60
