Price, Mark W.* - Chalfont  
Mark W. Price of Chalfont Mark W. Price, 52, husband of Christine D. (nee Cope) Price of Chalfont, passed away suddenly on August 25, 2015 at Abington Health-Lansdale Hospital in Lansdale, PA. Born on June 26, 1963 in Media, PA he was the son of William Price, III, of Wallingford, PA and the late Elizabeth (nee Cassidy) Price. He was a 1981 graduate of Penncrest High School and a graduate of Allegheny College in Meadville, PA where he obtained his Master’s Degree in education. At the time of his death he had been employed as a school teacher for almost 30 years by the North Penn School District where he was a special teacher in all aspects of life, and a very good and moral man. Mark enjoyed golfing, and fishing and boating on the ocean at Barnegat Light. He was an avid sports fan of all of the Philadelphia sports teams, and especially the Philadelphia Eagles, with whom he was a season ticket holder for many years. Mark will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend, and his greatest enjoyment in life came from spending time with his family. Mark is also survived by the light of his life; his daughters, Samantha C. Price, and Meghan C. Price, both of whom he was so very proud, of Chalfont, his sister, Tracy Price, of Media, his nieces and nephews, his In-laws, Dolores and Miguel Ortega, of Moscow, PA, and many numerous friends and colleagues. Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family to celebrate Mark’s life on Sunday evening, August 30, 2015, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Avenue, Lansdale, PA 19446, and again on Monday morning, August 31, 2015 from 10:00-11:00 AM at the Funeral Home where his Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM. Mark’s family has respectfully requested that all flowers be omitted, and that anyone wishing to do so may make a memorial contribution for his daughters’ education to the Mark W. Price Memorial Fund, c/o TD Bank, 499 W. Butler Avenue, Chalfont, PA 18914, which would be deeply appreciated by his family.

Pugles Jr., Thomas* - Doylestown  
Thomas Pugles Jr. of Doylestown Thomas Pugles, Jr. died suddenly August 12, 2015 at Liberty dialysis Center in Doylestown. He was born 20 minutes after his twin sister, Lorraine, on July 16, 1927, in Lansdale, PA. Their parents were Anna Mae and Thomas Pugles, Sr., both now deceased. He is survived by his sister, Lorraine London of Glen Arm, MD and brother Joseph D. of Hatfield, PA. He attended elementary and high school in Hatfield, PA. He was a Navy Veteran of World War, II, serving aboard the USS Gorka, a destroyer escort ship. After an honorable discharge he attended the PA State Police Academy and worked as a state policy officer in Berks, Lebanon and Bedford Counties in Pennsylvania. He also worked as a private investigator for several insurance companies. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Education and pursued his Master’s degree at the University of Missouri. Returning to PA he taught Industrial Arts and Mechanical Drawing at Palisades High School in upper Bucks Co., PA. for 25 years. During summer months he was Director of Sky Lake camp, a Boy Scout camp in Wayne Co., PA. He was the scoutmaster of a Boy Scout troop in Dublin, PA He retired from teaching and drove school bus for Central Bucks School District for 12 years. He was a devout member of Deep Run Presbyterian Church and served as a Deacon, Elder, School Superintendent and taught 4th grade Sunday School. Interment will be private. Arrangements made by the Cremation Society of PA.
