CLAYTON L. DIETZ(1917 - 2014)

CLAYTON L. DIETZ , 96, of Telford, PA; formerly of Souderton, PA went home to be with his Lord on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at Lutheran Community at Telford. He was the loving husband of Kathryn S. (Schueck) Dietz for 66 years. Clayton was born in Quakertown, PA to the late Samuel & Emma (Rotenburger) Dietz. He graduated from Quakertown High School. Clayton was employed as a Milkman for Martin Century Farms for 30 years. He then worked for Shelly & Fenstermacher of Souderton. Clayton was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather. He was a member of Faith Bible Fellowship Church. Clayton is survived by his daughter, Mary Ann Metzger & husband, James of Gordonville, PA; his son, David Dietz & wife, Karen of Telford, PA; his four granddaughters, Kathy Stepp of Reading, PA, Susan Gordon & husband, Wayne of Mohrsville, PA, Jamie Becker & husband, Robert of Souderton, PA, Jillian Dietz of Collegeville, PA; his two grandsons, Keith Kline & wife, Candace of Mohnton, PA, Joel Dietz & wife, Tara of Center Valley, PA; his fifteen great-grandchildren; his three great-great-grandchildren; his two sisters, Bertha Sloyer of Poughkeepsie, NY, Arlene Wiebe & husband, William of Elbing, KS and his brother, Howard Dietz of Telford, PA. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Timothy N. Kline; his three sisters, Blanche Swaverly, Sadie Dietz, Dorothy Dietz and his two brothers, Wilmer & Stewart Dietz. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at 11:00 am at Faith Bible Fellowship Church, 140 Harleysville Pike, Harleysville, Pennsylvania 19438 where friends may view and meet with the family from 9:30 am - 11:00 am.
