David Saylor

DAVID SAYLOR David Saylor, 52, of South Sterling, died Friday, January 11, 2013, at his home. He was the husband of Deborah (Oberparleiter) Saylor. Born in Lansdale, he was the son of Rose Mary (Ryan) Saylor of Lansdale and the late Ronald M. Saylor. He had resided in South Sterling since 1981, and prior to that in Lansdale. David and his wife, Debbie, owned and operated Saylor's Deli and Texaco in South Sterling for several years. He was also a carpenter, working for himself, as well as local contractors. He was a member of St. Rita's Parish Churches. Dave loved riding his Harley and attended Sturgis in 2012. He enjoyed hunting and boating on Lake Wallenpaupack and spending time with his friends at mantown at the Lake. In addition to his wife, Debbie and mother, Rose Mary, Dave is survived by a daughter, Chelsea Marie Saylor and a son, Cory Robert Saylor, both at home; five brothers, Ronald Saylor, of Souderton, James Saylor of Lansdale, Rick Saylor of Chalfont, Michael Saylor of New York and Chris Jordan of North Wales; and 17 nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12Noon Saturday Jan.19 in the Church of St. Anthony of Padua, Newfoundland. Friends may gather at the church from 11AM until service time. Memorial remembrances may be made to the Chapter of the in your home town. Arrangements are by the Arthur J. Frey Funeral Home, 201 LaAnna, Village of LaAnna.
