Elimar Neu

ELIMAR NEU Elimar Neu, 76, of Chalfont, made a gentle and peaceful transition Sunday, June 23, 2013, surrounded by his loving family at home. He was the beloved husband of Anneliese Neu. Born in Wolfstein, Germany, he immigrated to Philadelphia in 1957 where he began his lifelong career at O.P. Schuman and Sons Inc. as a machinist and ultimately working his way to the top as Superintendent. Elimar was a very youthful active person and was passionate about skiing, sailing, soccer, auto racing, gardening, dancing, travel and fixing and building things. Elimar's German heritage always played an important role in his life. Along with his wife he is survived by daughters, Suzette Gore, Birgit Neu and grandson, Kai, as well as Anneliese's children, Britta Hartman, Sven and Tore Albright and granddaughters, Sabina Hartman, Jessica and Joella Albright. There is also a brother, Carl, husband of Margie Neu. There will be a time to receive the family from 10 to 11AM, Friday, June 28, at the Huff and Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale, where his memorial service will begin at 11AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to St. Joseph's Indian School, P.O. Box 100, Chamberlain, SD, 57325.
