Helen Marie Dinda

HELEN DINDA Helen Marie Dinda, 91, of Lansdale, died April 4, 2013, at St. Mary Manor, Lansdale where she had been a resident since February, 1999. She had formerly lived in Colmar and Doylestown. Her beloved husband, Stephen D. Dinda, died October 17, 1998. Born in Elkins Park, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Jennie Burns Campbell. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Dinda was a member of Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery Township. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Colmar Volunteer Fire Company and volunteered at St. Mary Manor for many years. Mrs Dinda enjoyed knitting, crocheting and playing cards. She also enjoyed traveling and trips to Atlantic City Casinos.. Surviving are four daughters, Barbara DelCiotto and her husband, Dave, of North Wales, Kathryn Rocco and her husband, Anthony, of Danville, IL, Nance K. Gardner of Quakertown and Brenda Flannery and her husband, Bill, of Hatfield; 12 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass Wednesday, April 10 at 11AM at the Chapel at St. Mary Manor, 701 Lansdale Ave., Lansdale, PA 19446, where the family will receive friends Wednesday morning from 10 to 11AM. Interment will be in Whitemarsh Memorial Park. For those desiring, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Helen's name to St. Mary Manor ( address above) or the Colmar Volunteer Fire Co., PO Box 92, Colmar, PA 18915 would be preferred.
