JEAN SMITH Jean H. (Taylor) Smith, 76, of Harleysville, passed away February 20, 2013 at her residence. She and her husband, William F. Smith, observed their 50th wedding anniversary April 14 of last year. Born February 1, 1937 in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late George and Hattie (Chappell) Taylor, and was a graduate of Frankford High School. Mrs. Smith was a member of Christ Covenant Church where she was active with the Prayer Shawl Ministry and the Senior Adult Ministry. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Laura Edwards and her husband, Richard, of Harleysville and Beth Brulenski and her husband, David, of Ivyland; and three granddaughters, Kirstin and Emma Edwards, and Anna Brulenski. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Service at 11AM Saturday March 2, at Christ Covenant Church, 2200 Mainland Rd., Harleysville, PA 19438, where family will receive friends from 10 to 10:45AM. Interment will be private at Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the church.
