John J. Bonanni

JOHN BONANNI John J. Bonanni, 93, of Lansdale, died Sunday, February 17, 2013 at Abington Health - Lansdale Hospital. He was the beloved husband of the late Valeria (Johnson) Bonanni, who died in 2002. Born March 27, 1919, in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Victor and Anna (DeLuca) Bonanni. Mr. Bonanni was employed as a salesman in the lumber products industry for over thirty years throughout the Tri-State area. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he earned four Bronze Stars for his service to his country during World War II. John was also a member of the Sons of Italy, Lansdale. Survivors include his sister, Sara Zadlo, of Lansdale; and several generations of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Emilio, Trent, and Harry; and two sisters, Domenica Cerqua and Catherine Falco. Relatives and friends may call after 10AM Saturday, March 2, at St. Stanislaus Church, 51 Lansdale Ave., Lansdale, followed by the Funeral Mass at 11AM. Burial will be private in the Woodland United Methodist Church Cemetery, Culpeper, VA. For those desiring, contributions may be made in Mr. Bonanni's memory to a .
