Madeline Wood

MADELINE WOOD Madeline Wood of Harleysville, died Tuesday, January 22, 2013, at her residence. She was 54 years old. She was the beloved wife of the late Michael E. Wood. Born April 15, 1958 in Abington, she was the daughter of the late Gerald W. Howard and the late Fillipa (Antonuzzi)Howard. She was the mother of Brian Howard, Michele Hangey and her husband, Todd and James Wood; grandmother of Tyler and Alexis Hangey, Izabella and Rylee Howard, and Keira Wood; sister of Jerry Howard and his wife, Barbara, Joan Kane and her husband, Michael, and the late Joyce Marchisello and her husband, John. Madeline was born in Abington, and raised in the Willow Grove area. She attended Abington High School. During most of her career she was employed as a newspaper advertising director, beginning with The Reporter in Lansdale and then working for the Times Herald in Norristown. She had lived at her home in Harleysville for the past 22 years. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Saturday, Jan. 26, from 8:30AM and to her funeral service at 10:30AM at the Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 501 Easton Road, Willow Grove. Her entombment will follow at 11:30AM at Whitemarsh Memorial Park, 1169 Limekiln Pike, Prospectville.
