Margaret E. Thompson

MARGARET THOMPSON Margaret E. Thompson, 93, died Saturday August 3, 2013, in the Fort Washington Estates where she had been a resident. Born in Whitpain, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Lillian (Barrett) Morris. Mrs. Thompson was preceded in death by the love of her life, husband Gregory L. in 2012, as well as her five siblings. She was a homemaker and did work as a TV tube inspector at Philco - Ford In Lansdale until her retirement in the early 1950's. Mrs. Thompson was a member of Meals on Wheels- SAGA for 15 years and helped found the Maple Glen Garden Club of which she was a member for 20 years. She is survived by her children, Gail Moyer of Lansdale, John (Linda)Thompson of Hatfield, Nancy Cerwinske of La Grange, KY, Margaret "Peggy" (Joseph) Tomarelli of Flourtown, and Karen Thompson (Charles Smith) of Hatfield. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited after 10AM Thursday, Aug. 8 at the Anton B. Urban Funeral Home, 1111 S. Bethlehem Pike, Ambler with a Memorial Service at 11AM. Interment will be in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Prospectville.
