Michele M. Neff

MICHELE NEFF Michele M. Neff, 65, of Towamencin Twp., passed away January 22, 2013 at her residence after a long battle with cancer. She was the devoted wife of David E. Neff. They observed their 42nd wedding anniversary October 10th of last year. Born April 20, 1947 in Bath, NY, she was the daughter of the late Robert B. and Janet (Smith) Morrow. She was a 1965 graduate of Souderton High School and received her Bachelor's of Science degree in Education from Penn State University in 1969. She later received her Master's degree from the former Beaver College. Mrs. Neff was a Family and Consumer Science teacher at Souderton Area High School where she was employed for over 20 years. She had a passion for teaching and mentoring her students, and was instrumental in the formation of the "Little Red Playschool" at the new high school. Michele had a zest for life, a dedication to her family and church, and a love for all those she knew. She cherished all the relationships she was blessed with, especially those in her family. She was lovingly known as G-Ma to her eight grandkids, and she enjoyed the time she could spend with each one of them. She was an active member of the Central Schwenkfelder Church. She was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Michele had an incredibly creative mind that she employed in joyful pursuit of activities such as clothing design, quilting, and crafting gifts for others. In addition to her husband, she is survived by four children, Julie Martiello and her husband, Ronald and their three children, Nicholas, Callie, and Nathan of Skippack, Michael Neff and his wife, Robin and their three children, Zachary, Chase, and Joshua of Schwenksville, Rebecca Snyder and her husband, Peter and their two children, Lillian and Luke of Wallingford, and Steven Neff of Skippack. She was anxiously awaiting the quickly approaching birth of her ninth grandchild. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service at 11AM Saturday, Jan. 26, at Central Schwenkfelder Church, 2111 Valley Forge Rd., Lansdale, PA 19446, where friends may call for the viewing from 9 to 10:45AM. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the church to benefit the Prayer Garden. Arrangements are by the R. L.
