Russell Kramer

RUSSELL KRAMER Russell Kramer, 79, of the Souderton Mennonite Community and formerly of Hatfield Twp., died Saturday, February 23, 2013 at his home. He was the beloved husband of Evelyn G. (Hunsberger) Kramer. The couple celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary August 3, 2012. Born in North Wales, he was the son of the late Walter and Josephine (Bishop) Kramer. Mr. Kramer worked as a welder for the Asplundh Tree Expert Co. Manufacturing Division, Chalfont, PA for 18 years until it's closing in 1984. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Perkasie. A gifted cabinet and furniture maker, he also enjoyed gardening and especially loved raising Passion Flowers. Surviving with his wife are three sons, Russell W. Kramer and his wife, Karen, Tom Kramer and his wife, Anna, and John M. Kramer and his wife, Betti-Lou; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be held at 11AM Wednesday, Feb. 27, at Lower Skippack Mennonite Church, 892 Evansburg Road, Skippack, where the family and friends may call from 10to 11AM. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grand View Hospice, 700 Lawn Ave., Sellersville, PA 18960 or First Baptist Church, 1600 N. 5th Street, Perkasie PA 18944. Arrangements are by the Bernard Suess Funeral Home, Inc., Perkasie.
