Grace E. Frost

GRACE FROST Grace E. Frost, 95, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at Normandy Farms Estates in Blue Bell. She was the widow of Richard York Frost. Grace was born August 9, 1917 in Bridgeport, CT, daughter of the late Benjamin and Eva Stewart. She graduated from the Junior College of Connecticut (now Bridgeport University) and worked for Travelers Insurance Company in Connecticut. After moving to Pennsylvania, Grace worked as an Executive Secretary for Burroughs (now Unisys) in Paoli for 25 years. Upon retirement at the age of 70, she began 15 years of volunteer service at North Penn Hospital (now Abington Health-Lansdale Hospital). Grace moved to Normandy Farms Estates in 2002 and continued to pursue her interests, including bridge, crossword puzzles, swimming and needlework. Her wonderful sense of humor and laughter will be missed by family and friends. Grace is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth, wife of William Hardie of North Wales; four grandsons, Robert, husband of Star Lippmann of Coatesville, Craig, husband of Kim Lippmann of Stamford, CT, Douglas Lippmann of Baltimore, MD, and Scott, husband of Ryan Hardie of Lansdale. Grace will be dearly missed by her four great-granddaughters, Tristan and Sydney Lippmann of Stamford, CT, Abbey Lippmann of Coatesville and Madison Hardie of Lansdale. Besides her parents, she is pre deceased by her daughter, Barbara Lippmann, of Lansdale, and her brothers, Benjamin and Douglas Stewart. A public memorial service will be held 11AM Thursday, July 18, at Normandy Farms Estates, Twin Silo Drive, Blue Bell. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Grace's memory to the American Cancer Society, 480 Norristown Rd, Suite 150, Blue Bell, PA 19422, or the NFE Samaritan Fund, 375 Morris Rd., West Point, PA 19486.
