ADELENE NEIDIG Adelene P. Neidig, 95, passed away Wednesday May 2, 2012 in Windermere, FL. Adelene "Lena" enjoyed a long and happy marriage of 47 years with her beloved husband, John, who passed away February 1, 1992. Born in Lansdale to Tobia and Sarafina "Fannie" Pietrangelo, she was one of 10 siblings and a member of Saint Stanislaus Parish. Her professional careers included hand decorating tile at American Olean Tile, and later, hairdressing at a family owned salon. Adelene was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose and enjoyed being on the ladies bowling team. Surviving is her daughter, Marie R. Snyder and her husband, William, of Windermere, FL and William's sister, Judy Markovitz of Horsham; granddaughter, Lisa and her husband, Robert Strehle, of Florida; grandson, James Edwards and his wife, Kelly, of Florida; step-grandson, William Snyder and his wife, Elizabeth, of Florida, and step-granddaughter, Suzanne Snyder, of Doylestown; great-grandchildren, Kayla and Cole Strehle, and Chase Edwards of Florida; step-great grandchildren, Matthew, Taylor and Nick Snyder of Florida and Rachel, Alexandra and Jacob Worth of Doylestown; sisters, Marguerite and husband, Lou DiLello, Theresa and husband, George Puia, and Marie Bartle, all residing in Lansdale; and her brother, Carl Pietrangelo and his wife, Rita, of Telford. She was preceded in death by sisters, Florence Palermo, Josephine Molettiere and brothers, Samuel, Anthony and Leon Pietrangelo. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass Friday, May 11 at 11AM at St. Stanislaus Church, 51 Lansdale Avenue, Lansdale where the family will receive friends Friday from 10 to 10:45AM. Interment will be at GreenLawn Cemetary, 114 N. Main Street, North Wales. For those desiring, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Adelene's memory can be made to National Centre for PadrePio, Inc., 2213 Old Route 100, Barto, PA 19504, 610-845-3000 and would be appreciated.
