Obituary Condolences

ALICE POTTS Alice M. Potts, 96, of Telford, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, January 31, 2012 in the LifeQuest Nursing Center, Milford Twp. She was the wife of the late Calvin S. T. Potts who died in 1972. Born in Pottsville, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Clara (Snyder) Schoffstall. She was employed for 35 years as a bookkeeper for Hatfield Trousers, later known as Pincus Brothers. Mrs. Potts was a member of North Penn Church of Christ in Lansdale. A former member of Grace Lutheran Church in Hatfield, she enjoyed singing in the church choir and at weddings. She was a member of Hatfield Fire Company Ladies' Auxiliary. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening and music, but her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her great grandchildren. She is survived by a daughter, A. Janet Phillips and her husband, James H., Jr., of Telford; three grandchildren, Terri Lynn Schoch and her husband, Michael, of Wescosville, Kim Phillips of Quakertown, and Steven James Phillips and his wife, Heather Leigh, of Sellersville; five great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Burke, and four brothers, Tom, William, Mark and Henry Heffner. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 4 at 11AM in the Sadler-Suess Funeral Home, 33 N. Main St., Telford. Interment will follow in the Hatfield Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11AM prior to the service.
