ANNE KRAMER Anne N. Kramer, 94, formerly of Hatfield, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2012 at Pennsburg Manor. She was the wife of the late Louis M. Kramer who passed away in 1998. Born July 4, 1918 in Nanticoke, she was the daughter of the late Edward Long and Nora (Mcgonigle). She was a graduate of Nanticoke High School class of 1935 Mrs. Kramer was a founding member of St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church. She was also the founding member of the Hatfield presidium of the Legion of Mary. She served as an officer for many years. She coordinated the CCD program at St. Maria Goretti. In her later years, she was a Eucharistic minister and she was an active volunteer at many area nursing homes. In 2004, she was awarded the Volunteer of the Year award from the Indian Creek Foundation. On April 4, 2012, she was awarded the "Anne Kramer Service Award" from the St. Maria Goretti Parish. She was admired by many for her humble devotion to the Blessed Mother. She is survived by her children, Michael Kramer and his wife, Donna, of Hatfield, Patrick Kramer and his wife, Wanda, of Perkasie, and Louanne DeCarme and her husband, Stephen, of Red Hill; daughter-in-law, Patricia Kramer; son-in-law, William Leypoldt; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her children, David Kramer, and Mary Leypoldt; her siblings, Thomas Owens and Edward Owens; and her grandson, Bryan Schellinger. Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass at 10 AM Tuesday, April 10, at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, 1601 Derstine Rd. Hatfield, PA 19440. Interment will be private at St. John Neumann Cemetery. Friends may call for the viewing Monday, from 6 to 8PM at the Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home Inc. 667 Harleysville Pike, Telford (Franconia Twp.) and again Tuesday morning from 8:30 to 9:45 at the church.
