AURELIA DINUNZIO Aurelia M. "Rae" (Barboni) DiNunzio, 93, of Lansdale, passed away January 30, 2013 at Lansdale Hospital. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 64 years, Michael DiNunzio, who died in 2011. Born September 7, 1919 in Mt. Airy, NC, Aurelia was a daughter of the late M. Edward and Rose (Mastroianni) Barboni. Mrs. DiNunzio was a music lover, and she enjoyed spending time in her garden and cooking. She valued her work as a legal secretary and office manager, retiring in her late 70s. Above all else, Rae cherished being a wife, mother, and grandmother; she will be greatly missed. She is survived by her daughter, Claire DiNunzio Mirarchi and her husband, Saverio Mirarchi, and their children, Adriana Mirarchi and her husband, Pasquale Ruocco, Luisa Mirarchi, and Alexander Mirarchi. She is also survived by her son, Michael DiNunzio, Jr. and his wife, Mary Beth DiNunzio, and their niece, Christina Caffrey. Two siblings, Dolores Pyne and Robert Barboni also survive. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Barboni; and a sister, Olga Haag. A time to greet the family will be held 6 to 8PM Monday, February 4 at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale. Friends may also call 8:30AM to 9:45AM Tuesday, February 5 at St. Stanislaus Church, 51 Lansdale Ave., Lansdale, where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10AM. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Norristown.
