Obituary Condolences

BERNARD COYLE Bernard J. Coyle, 63, of Souderton, went to be with his Lord, Monday March 5, 2012, at his home. He was surrounded by his family and loving wife, Eunice Kriebel Coyle. Born December 20, 1948 in Philadelphia, Bernard was a son of the late Bernard and Margaret (Lawrence) Coyle. Bernard was a graduate of Cardinal Dougherty High School, Philadelphia, Class of 1967. Mr. Coyle's career at PECO spanned 39 years, and he retired as supervisor. He was a longtime member of St. Maria Goretti Church, Hatfield. Mr. Coyle enjoyed golfing and watching the Phillies. He loved vacationing in Sea Isle City, NJ, and was an extraordinary body surfer. Bernard's greatest joy was spending time with his family, and he cherished being a grandfather. His compassion for others will be greatly missed. In addition to his wife, Mr. Coyle is survived by three children, Kevin B. Coyle of Philadelphia, Matthew Coyle (Amy) of East Greenville, and Timothy J. Coyle (Danielle) of Harleysville; one beloved grandson, Seamus Owen Coyle; seven siblings, Maureen Mondel (Bill) of Hatfield, Bernadette DiPasquale of Warrington, Cornelius Coyle (Lorraine) of Philadelphia, Margaret Perry (Joseph) of Hatfield, Thomas Coyle (Marjorie) of Marlton, NJ, Patrick Coyle of Philadelphia, and Dolores Ferguson (Frank) of Lansdale; and many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Bernard was preceded in death by his first wife, Bernadette (Mulcahy) Coyle, who died in 1994; and a brother, John Coyle. Friends may greet the family 7 to 9PM Friday, March 9, at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale. The Funeral Mass will be held 10 AM Saturday, March 10 at St. Maria Goretti Church, 1601 Derstine Road, Hatfield, 19440, where the family will receive friends after 9AM. Interment will follow in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bernard's memory to Grand View Hospice, 700 Lawn Avenue, Sellersville, PA 18960 or to St. Maria Goretti Church, address above.
